Abstract

(Figure Presented) Better off med: The assembly of eight-coordinate indium molecular building blocks (MBBs) and 4,5-imidazoledicarboxylate (Himdc) ligands in the presence of a structure-directing agent results in the formation a novel 4-connected zeolite-like metal-organic framework (ZMOF) with an unprecedented zeolite topology (med topology, see picture; In green, C gray, N blue, O red; the framework topology of usf-ZMOF is shown in green tetrahedra).
