We provide a theoretical analysis to predict the coupling efficiency from nanoslits to metal-insulator-metal waveguides quantitatively, which will be useful for the development of plasmonic networks to bridge the gap between photonics, optoelectronics and nanoelectronics. © OSA 2012.
