Abstract

The physical properties of epitaxial thin films under various type and degree of substrate induced biaxial strain were discussed. Pulsed laser deposition technique was used to grow films with various thickness on crystalline NdGaO3, LaAlO3, and SrTiO3. It was concluded that LPCMO thin films could not be explained as simple metal-insulator mixtures.
