Abstract
Terahertz spectrum of high nitrogen energetic ion salts (5-ATN, BMDATHBT), oxidizer (SrNO3, KClO3, KClO4) and mixtures (gas generating product, pyrotechnic compositions) are measured in the region of 0.5~2.0 THz by time-domain spectroscopy. Using the density functional theory methods, the vibration characteristics are simulated by Dmol3. The results showed that THz spectrum of salts have typical absorption peaks, which are closely related to their structures. Besides, THz spectral of mixture contained feature information of the composition, and the absorption intensity for composition had changed in the mixture, due to the physical interaction of components. The research will provide references for detecting high nitrogen compounds through Terahertz technique.
