Abstract
This study aims to understand the effect of H2 and N2 blended to the fuel on soot formation and flame temperature of non-premixed ethylene laminar flames at atmospheric pressure. The soot volume fraction was measured in two dimensions using laser-induced incandescence (LII) with an estimated uncertainty of ±34%, while the temperature was measured in one dimension using two-line atomic fluorescence (TLAF) thermometry with an uncertainty of ± 87 K. This paper mainly reports the experimental details and data analysis processes.
