Abstract
A new process for the synthesis of iridium nanoparticles is described. A stabilizer-free method for the efficient preparation of iridium nanoparticles, finely dispersed on untreated carbon nanotubes, has been developed using hydrogen as reducing agent. The newly synthezised catalysts were analyzed by TEM/STEM imaging and tested in hydrogenations of N-heterocycles.
