Abstract
We investigate theoretically the geometry and charge distribution in three singly oxidized oligomers representative of leucoelmeraldine, emeraldine, and pernigraniline. We analyze the influence of both torsion-angle and chemical-structure aspects on the self-trapping of the induced polarons.
