Abstract

Navigation apps impact our daily life. However, progress in virtualization technologies and software-defined radios has enabled new attack vectors, namely, road traffic poisoning. These attacks create several dreadful scenarios, which are addressed in this article by identifying associated challenges and proposing countermeasures.
