Abstract

We report a plasmonic interferometric biosensor based on a simple slit-grooves nanostructure for enhanced optical biosensing with figures of merit reaching 71.5 and detection limit of 2×10-5 RIU in a simple collinear transmission optical setup. © 2011 Optical Society of America.
