In this work, capacitive touchpads are presented based on fabrication processes that are inexpensive, lab and solvent-free. Pencil and paper have been used to fabricate the sensors, and these materials are economical, biodegradable, and readily available. A touchpad comprising a combination of five sensors has been developed, and analyzed its working by interface controlling for LED's toggle operation. LCD and android app interface have been used to display the result. The sensor's response has been sensed for a gloved finger touch for sensors. The sensor's performance remained consistent, and the functionality was similar to common buttons and sensors. These sensors are recyclable and can be fabricated with ease. This can contribute to potential developments in smart packaging, medical and healthcare applications, and thin human-machine interfaces.
