Abstract

Omnidirectional absorption enhancements induced by localized surface plasmon resonances supported by gold nanowire arrays embedded in a slab waveguide are demonstrated, which could find applications on novel photovoltaic devices or photodetectors. © 2012 Optical Society of America.
