Abstract

The oscillations in reactive multilayer foils were studied using a numerical model. The model takes into account the effects of ambient temperature, layer roughness in the as-deposited films, and the local compositional inhomogeneities in the as-deposited multilayers on the properties of the self-propagating reactions.
