Abstract

(Figure Presented) (Figure Presented) Molecular twister: A single-molecule study in a semi-dilute regime on a synthetic ring polymer containing a fluorescent perylene diimide unit (see picture, orange) reveals the heterogeneity of the system. The investigation indicates partial threading of the cyclic chains with the linear polymer matrix.
