Abstract
A study was conducted to report high temperature separation performance of amine-crosslinked mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) with molecularly tuned free volume for H2/CO2. The pristine 6FDA-Durene membrane displayed the highest thermal stability of up to 450 °C, after which the samples started to thermally degrade. The addition of 10 wt% ZIF-71 reduces the thermal stability to around 400 °C. The weight loss for TAEA vapor cross-linked MMMs was observed at a temperature higher than 300 °C.
