Abstract
This paper presents a self-interference cancellation approach for a MIMO in-band full-duplex system based on blind source separation (BSS). Specifically, the proposed approach consists of a BSS stage followed by a MIMO detection stage. BSS suppresses the interference from the transmit chain whereas the MIMO detection removes the interference caused by the wireless channel. Furthermore, this paper presents a technique that can improve the performance of the BSS by mitigating the effects of nonlinearity. The detailed analyses and experimental results verify the suppression of interference by the proposed scheme.
