Abstract

The dynamic structure factor S(q,t) of entangled solutions of ultra high molecular weight styrene-isoprene (SI) diblock copolymers in a common good solvent (toluene) is explored by photon correlation spectroscopy. One symmetric and two asymmetric SI samples with two and five fractionations were examined. In the disordered state, the order parameter fluctuations relax via two distinct chain relaxations (fast Rouse and slow reputation) and chain diffusion. This relaxation mechanism is S(q,t) is valid only in the homogeneous region, away from the strong fluctuations.
