Abstract
This paper considers the problem of controlling linear systems subject to actuator rate and position saturations. An approach based on a parameter-dependent Riccati equation is proposed, which guarantees global asymptotic stabilization under standard technical conditions. The method is used to control a numerical model of the F/A 18 fighter aircraft.
