Abstract

A simple method for the controlled growth of novel reduced graphene oxide/carbon nanowire (rGO/CNW) composites is developed. Without any additional carbon precursor, the graphene oxide itself serves as the only carbon source. As a proof-of-concept, the chemical sensor based on the parallel rGO/CNW micropatterns is demonstrated, which exhibits the excellent detection of dopamine.
