Abstract

The present study deals with solution of antenna radiation problems in fractional dimensional space. Using the solution of vector potential wave equation in fractional space, we propose a novel generalized procedure for solution of radiation problems in fractional space. As an application we study the fields radiated by Hertzian dipole in α-dimensional fractional space. For all investigated solutions when integer dimension is considered, the classical results are recovered. © 2011 IEEE.
