Abstract

In this paper an extension of the asymptotic expansion homogenization technique is proposed for predicting the effective behavior of composite structures exhibiting periodicity with respect to cylindrical coordinates. The composite structures are made of thermoelastic constituents. One example is presented to demonstrate the use of the proposed methodology. © 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
