Abstract
By incorporating a realistic viscosity—pressure relationship into the calculation of the fluid motion in a mold cavity, we found that it results in suppressing the fluid and delaying pressure buildup within the cavity. However, it is surprising that the pressure uniformity in the transverse flow direction is improved.
