Abstract
Dual-pump coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering measurements are reported in a non-premixed C2H4/N2 and air diffusion flame. These co-flow diffusion flames were stabilized over a Yale burner. The spatialresolution of the CARS measurements was approximately 1 mm. Various aspects of CARS spectra in these flames, with heavy soot loading, are discussed and the measurements are compared to previous work and adiabatic flame calculations.
