Abstract

There are several techniques used to study corrosion of buried metals. In this exploratory study, the potential use of electromagnetic waves to characterize the corrosiveness of geo-environments, to monitor the evolution of a corrosion process, and to assess the state of corrosion of buried metal components is addressed.
