Abstract
The chemistry of anilido phosphine complexes has been popularized since 2003 when N-arylation of the parent o-anilinophosphine was made possible. This Highlight Review summarizes the cumulative progress made in nickel chemistry, paying particular attention to oxidative addition, reductive elimination, CO insertion, olefin insertion, β-hydrogen elimination, metathetical reaction, arene C-H activation, and their collaborative applications to Kumada-type cross coupling catalysis.
