Abstract

Fe(CO)5, Fe3(CO)12, and [HFe 3(CO)11]- supported on inorganic oxides such as Al2O3, La2O3, MgO, or SiO 2, exhibit, after decomposition under CO+ H2, a very high selectivity in Fischer-Tropsch syntheses for low molecular weight olefins.
