Abstract

(H)Os3(CO)10(OSi3 bonds on the lefthand side sign) is a catalyst for ethylene hydrogenation at 353 K; spectroscopic evidence is given for the reversibility of ethylene co-ordination with the cluster, and for the complete catalytic cycle of C2H4 hydrogenation.
