Abstract
A new approach to measuring temperature, in which calibration-free and high timeresolution character are simultaneously achieved, is exploited through the use of intrapulse spectroscopy. The method promises to overcome uncertainties resulting from laser instability in using conventional fixed wavelength techniques.
