Abstract

We propose a methodology that allows the production of high efficiency (up to 99% in the visible) ultra-flat (down to 50 nm thick) optics for vectorial light control and for ar[1]bitrarily defined broadband input-output responses of a de[1]sired wavefront shape. Experimetally, we show basic trans[1]mission/reflection components such as polarizer beam split[1]ters and dichroic mirrors can be manufactured with over 90% efficiency across the visible and present the basis for a two sub-pixel flat optics display.
