Abstract

We experimentally realize a patterned hyperbolic metafilm with engineered and freely tunable absorption band from near-IR to mid-IR spectral regions based on multilayered metal/dielectric hyperbolic metamaterial waveguide taper. © 2014 Optical Society of America.
