Abstract

In this paper, we analyze the fundamental subwavelength modes in V-groove channel plasmon polariton (CPP) waveguides and their propagation properties using an improved full-vectorial finite difference frequency-domain technique (FDFD). We show that CPP propagation properties mainly depends on the groove angle rather than its depth. © 2007 IEEE.
