Abstract

Fifth-generation and beyond communication enabling technologies such as non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), device-to-device (D2D), and millimeter-wave (mmWave) communication have a great potential to boost the capacity of underlying networks. Hence, analytically tractable outage probability expressions for multi-user NOMA-assisted mmWave D2D networks limited by practical system imperfections, i.e., multiuser interference, residual transceiver hardware impairments, imperfect successive interference cancellation and channel state information mismatch, are delivered and verified through comprehensive Monte Carlo simulation. Finally, a fair power allocation scheme is exploited to ensure fairness among multiple NOMA end-users.
