Abstract

Blends of OTV-4 and PMMA can be thermally processed so that the OTV-4 is in an isolated or a strongly aggregated state or a combination of the two. We report the results of spectroscopic studies using absorption and electroabsorption techniques to elucidate the effects of aggregation. This model system may yield important information about the effects of aggregation in conjugated polymers.
