abstract = "Video and image tracking algorithm is critical to unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) tracking mission. In order to overcome the performance bottleneck of the conventional video tracking algorithm, a new video tracking algorithm based on differential evolutionary particle filter is proposed. It substantially improves standard particle filter via using the crossover and mutation operators, the new video tracking algorithm integrates the differential evolutionary particle filter and the color histogram character. Simulation results show that the new algorithm performs well for UAV tracking problems.",
