Advanced techniques for custom and routine chemical analysis

The Analytical Chemistry Core Lab houses a diverse range of state-of-the-art instrumentation in a 1400-square-meter user facility. We specialize in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of inorganic and organic constituents in most solid and liquid materials. In addition, we have instruments for the characterization of thermal, mechanical, optical and electrical properties of materials.

Our expert staff provides training to enable users to operate analytical equipment independently. We are also available to support independent users to ensure high quality research results. Where advanced scientific expertise is necessary, we encourage collaborative research projects that are jointly guided by KAUST research groups and Analytical Chemistry Core Lab scientific staff. In some cases, our laboratory may be available to perform contract analyses where our staff handle the entire analytical process from sample receipt to reporting of results.
