Quanta 600 is a scanning electron microscope - SEM - that produces images of a sample by scanning it with a focused beam of electrons. The electrons interact with atoms in the sample, producing various signals that contain information about the sample's surface topography and composition. This instrument is useful for understanding the surface structure, morphology and elemental distribution of a specimen. Resolution: 1.2nm for SE and 2.5nm for BSE at 30kV .
