Branchial gene expression in A. dispar exposed to increased salinity over a timeline

Nearly-freshwater adapted A. dispar from inland desert ponds were exposed to highly saline water to mimic a colonization event of Red Sea coastal lagoons. Short- and longer-term responses were explored thanks to timed sampling events along the saltwater acclimation course.
